Tim is the owner of The Pool And Deck website and an expert in the subject. He loves to write on everything he knows about pool & deck construction and maintenance.
Susan contributes from time to time, by writing creative and well-researched articles on fashion, home decor, and whatever else takes her fancy.

Site Owner / Pool Specialist
Tim has been around pools for as long as he can remember. Much of his knowledge comes from his father, who ran a small pool service business and often brought Tim along on customer visits and repair calls.
He began by doing the hard work — brushing pools and scrubbing decks — which he didn’t enjoy at first. But after a few years, as his father started teaching him the craft, the work became genuinely interesting.
Tim improved quickly, and his father saw it. His proudest moment came when he serviced a customer’s pool entirely on his own. Today, with his father mostly retired, Tim runs the operation himself.
Over the years, he has seen many situations where customers could have saved significant money with the right guidance. That motivated him to launch his informational blog, The Pool And Deck, where he shares everything he knows.
